# MetaAirdrop

### MetaAirdrop

MetaAirdrop was MetaChain’s community distribution program for META, the native utility token of the MetaChain ecosystem. The program allocated **2 billion META**, equal to **2%** of the **100 billion** total supply.

Eligible participants who completed registration and KYC verification received a direct reward of **10,000 META**. The allocation has been fully distributed. **MetaAirdrop has ended**, and new claims are closed.

Unlike ordinary promotional airdrops, distribution was designed around a fixed community pool and a clear per-user reward, so participants received META directly after eligible KYC approval rather than through an open-ended points contest.

META is no longer available through MetaAirdrop. The current way to acquire META is the community pre-sale.

#### How It Worked

1. **Register** a MetaChain account.
2. **Complete KYC** to verify eligibility.
3. **Receive 10,000 META** after KYC approval, while the program was active.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.metaverse-ico.net/metaairdrop.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
